Projects & Donations

What we are building.

Prayer and action. Every program, in order, with its status and what the first funds build.

Every program the Fellowship has in motion or in planning, in the order we will build them. Each one follows the same method: brainstorm, plan, write the free guide, film the workshop. Each one will have its own open account on the transparency page.

About donationsThe Fellowship is not yet a registered nonprofit, so we cannot receive donations yet. No button on this site collects money. When giving opens, every gift will be shown on the open books, and anyone may give anonymously. How to help now →

Food

Planning

What it is

Clean food for the congregation and the neighbourhood: first greenhouses, then The Common Good Grocery, then a food bank where we can, then community meals cooked for everyone.

Greenhouses→The Common Good Grocery→Food bank→Community meals

What the first funds build

The first funds buy seeds, soil and the materials for a small greenhouse on borrowed or donated land, so the first harvest can be shared with families who need it.

How you can help

Grow something and share the harvest · Lend a corner of land, a yard or a rooftop · Offer a skill: gardening, cooking, carpentry, bookkeeping

Housing

Planning

What the first funds build

The first funds buy tools, safety equipment and a secure place to store salvaged materials, and pay for the training and permits a first small home needs.

Building

What it is

A homeschool curriculum with free material and some paid material, built around Charlie's Amazing Adventures: read-along books, activity books and lessons that teach children to notice, to be patient, to share and to care.

Read-along books→Activity books→Lessons and units→Parent guides

What the first funds build

The first funds pay for printing, illustration and the read-along app, so the free material reaches more families.

Youth and Trades

Planning

What it is

Young people learn real trades beside the congregation's builders and growers: carpentry, growing food, cooking, repair, and the habits of showing up and finishing well.

Host and refer→Learn beside a builder→Earn a certificate→Join a crew

What the first funds build

The first funds pay for safety gear, tools sized for young hands, and background checks for every adult who teaches.

The Endowment and the Investment Club

Planning

What it is

Two structures, both being set up with professional legal help: a congregation endowment, where the congregation invests its own funds and the earnings pay for programs; and a member investment club, where members who want to learn invest together as co-owners, one vote each.

Legal design→Policies→Endowment→Investment club

What the first funds build

The first funds pay for the legal and accounting advice that must come before a single dollar is invested.

How you can help

Lawyers and accountants: offer an hour of advice · Learn with the first study group before any club opens
